I need to stop you on your tirade. I think you'll find London (where I am from) voted for Labour... London generates most of the wealth of the UK... London also voted to remain as part of the european union AND we have a larger electorate than Scotland... should we Londoners seek independence...
After the Scottish people were allowed a referendum about whether or not you wanted to remain part of the UK. To which you voted yes, I believe the rest of the UK should have been given a referendum asking if we wanted to keep you !
Well I have been there also and the access to the sea is blocked by numerous lock gates... having travelled by boat from inverness to fort william i know how narrow the caledonian canal gets in places... i dont think a creature of its reported size could pass through it to access the sea.
